00 to 1001 are applied at the input terminals, the IC produces equivalent outputs at its output terminals from a–g. The 7–seg display is common anode type.
2) Suppose BCD input is DCBA = 0101. It is equivalent to decimal 5. This input is converted into equivalent 7–seg code by the IC and its outputs abcdefg = 0100100. For the input DCBA = 1000, all segments of the display will glow to show decimal 8 and outputs abcdefg = 0000000 and so on.
Conclusion –

The sequence detection logic circuit consists of three flip-flops for detecting the incoming as well as the outgoing vehicles. The Y0 line is connected to the clear lines of all the flip-flops, which gives zero at their respective outputs. The vehicle entering the parking area must interrupt the first sensor (before entrance), then both the sensors and finally just the second sensor (after entrance). Thus the sequence generated states are 10, 11 and 01, necessarily in that sequence.

he transistor maintains in off state. From the transistor voltage is fed to the optocoupler as the transistor is in off state no current is produced so the coupler will not work and 0v output formed is fed to the tip. A tip is connected to the output of the optocoupler which needs 5v to work as the optocoupler is failed to produce 5v output the tip does not work. The tip is connected to the relay which act as a switch it has two conditions normal close and normal open initially it maintain in the normal close state when there is no current to reach it changes to the normal open state.
